Anomolus Propagation in the Altostratus

Maybe I'm just a simple guy. When I tune into the news for weather (mistake #1), I only need to know what the temps will be tomorrow, and if it's gonna rain/ snow. I guess (as do they more often than not) TV meteorologists feel the need to share way too much information. Are they justifying their jobs? I don't want to grow up to be a TV weather guy. I don't care about AWHIPS or NEXRAD. I wanna know if I'll be able to ride my motorcycle tomorrow! I tune in to see what's upcoming. I don't want to know how to build the space shuttle!
